A lot has already happened to start off this project! It was really cool seeing all the ideas being brought forward by everyone that allowed this story to become more solidified than the pitch that was shown to us last semester! So far we've done really well figuring out the pillars of this project and how we're moving forward working as a team. We were very detailed about out writing agreement and had multiple discussions on what was important to us about making decisions, what happens if someone falls short of their intended tasks, etc. There was a small setback when one of our group members wasn't showing up on time and we had to figure out how to approach that conversation with them. Luckily after the conversation it hasn't been a problem! Another achievement was us being able to get together outside of class consistently to develop story beats and figure out what plot holes were in the film that we could fill? One of the main aspects I've been working on as apart of the organization team is how our discord is formatted! I've found a way to organize our ideas well in a way that can make things easy to find and I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

Something the entire team did was we all found images that we could use for art direction on the film! It was a really cool moment because you could tell everyone was on a similar page and it gave us the opportunity to see what this film will really look like!

Current goals moving forward are to solidify an asset and shot list. Those are two things that we really need to get to work on because while we do have animatics, most of the drawings are rough and may not have the props that we need to display in the shot. We are also trying to decide if we want to stick with using Autodesk Maya or if we want to switch to blender. One of our simulation specials pointed out a lot of really good tools are in Blender so we are exploring that front.
